Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (March 24, 2016) – Dale Blaney will make his season debut in his home state of Ohio this Saturday at Attica Raceway Park.
Blaney led the Mainstream Holdings, Inc., backed CH Motorsports team to a pair of feature victories at the high-banked track located in Attica last year.
“I’ve always enjoyed racing at Attica and feel like we can contend for the win any time we are there,” he said. “It’s usually a pretty racy track where you can move around and if your car is working well you can pass cars.”
Blaney has taken advantage of a great race car during 11 races in Arizona and Florida in 2016. He has one win, seven top fives and 10 top 10s.
The Mainstream Holdings, Inc., sponsored team will look to continue that hot streak at the same track where Blaney won a World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series event and an Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions race during Ohio Speedweek last season.
“We feel confident going into this weekend that we will be a contender,” he said. “It would be great to get to Victory Lane during our first race of the season in Ohio.”
Additionally, Blaney will take part in a National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum forum titled “Sprint Car 101: An Hour with Dale Blaney” on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Tim’s Motorsports Expo at the Allen County Fairgrounds in Lima, Ohio.
Saturday’s race will also be Blaney’s final tune-up before the All Star points opener on April 2 at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio.
