Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (Feb. 29, 2016) – Big Game Motorsports is back in action this week as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series ventures west.
Danny Lasoski will guide the Muddy backed team into races on Thursday and Friday at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas in Las Vegas and Sunday at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Ariz., for the NAPA Desert Shootout.
“We’re very excited because the race track in Las Vegas has been good to us,” he said. “Guy (Forbrook) and the team have really worked hard after Florida. We had to change a couple of things to get better so hopefully that will show up right away this week.”
Lasoski has earned three career World of Outlaws victories in Las Vegas. He went to Victory Lane first in 1999 before returning in 2001 and 2003. Lasoski has captured four top 10s at the half-mile oval since his last win, including a podium finish last year.
“The bigger, faster places seem to fit my driving style better,” he said. “You’re getting around there pretty good. All we ask for is options to race on the track and let us do our jobs and that’s usually the case at Las Vegas.”
Sunday’s event will mark Lasoski’s debut at Arizona Speedway.
“We’ll go there and take a look at the surface and size and go from there,” he said. “If it resembles any other track that’s the baseline we go off of. All I’ve heard is it’s relatively new and out in the middle of the desert.”
Lasoski has scored at least one World of Outlaws victory during 16 of the last 18 years.
