DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (February 22, 2016) – After a record breaking 102 entries entered the season opening weekend for the NOW600 National Micro Series at the Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas. The stage is now set for round three and four on the NOW600 National Tour.
The Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas will play host to the Red River Roundup for the NOW600: Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class divisions on Friday and Saturday, March 4 and 5, 2016.
Each nights event will be based off the NOW600 Single Day Purse Structure as well as the track adding $400 to the top of each pay scale in the Stock Non-Wing and Winged A-Class divisions, while the Restricted ‘A’ Class division will be based solely on their standard Single Day purse for that class.
The night will count for points not only for the NOW600 National Tour, but for the Inside Line Promotions NOW600 North Texas Region powered by FFE Motorsports as well as the season point opener weekend for the NOW600 Sooner Region.
The Lucas Oil POWRi West Midgets and Sprint Series of Okla. Winged 305 Sprint Cars will also be highlighted on the all open wheel card.
NOW600 National PURSE STRUCTURE for March 4 and 5:
Stock Non-Wing: $400, $300, $200, $150, $125, $100, $80, $70, $60, $55, 11-20: $50.
Winged A-Class: $400, $300, $150, $125, $115, $100, $80, $70, $60, $50, $45, 12-20: $40.
Restricted ‘A’ Class: $250, $150, $125, $100, $80, $70, $60, $50, $40, $35, 12-20: $30.
ALL NON-QUALIFIERS: $30.
The 2016 season marks the fourth season of competition for the National Open Wheel 600 Series sanctioning micro sprint racing in Oklahoma and North Texas.
