The Sprint Car Bandits Unveils Series, Website, Platform & More

Mesquite, TX (12/30/15) by DarinShort.com. The Sprint Car Bandits Series was formed to work for everyone.

So what does that mean?

It means, the primary goals are to make this series 'work' for the competitors, the race tracks, the race fans and the sponsors.

How is the Sprint Car Bandits Series going to accomplish those goals?

-Competitors. Our rules package helps equalize the cars, which makes the driver more of a factor. By creating an environment that helps to level the playing field, it will create more strategy throughout the racing program. Our rules package also allows drivers to race their existing cars without making any major changes to them. It will also lower competitors operating costs on consumable items. Please click our 'rules' link on our web link below for more details.

-Fans. Our rules package will create more of a competitive field of cars which will result in better racing, where racers of different budget sizes can perform based on their set-up skills...and race for good payback as well.

-Race Tracks. The Sprint Car Bandits Series operates on lower overhead and costs race tracks less to book an event. This allows for more affordable ticket prices for race fans - which helps draw bigger crowds as well.

-Series Sponsors. Part of the track agreement is that our Series sponsors have the ability to receive display space at the Series events, in order to get their product/service directly in front of the fans/target market. There are also several online components that help drive fans/teams to their online marketing efforts...which creates several value-added benefits.

Even though this Series has just launched, there are already Sprint Car Bandits events that are booked, and over 20 sprint car teams have expressed their intent on racing with the Series in 2016.

At the time of writing, the first wave of 2016 events are now booked. Several additional dates are currently being negotiated, and based on those conversations, we are estimating a 12-16 date schedule at this point. We will update our schedule as new events are booked:

April 16 - Abilene Speedway, Abilene, TX
June 11 - Superbowl Speedway, Greenville, TX
June 25 - LoneStar Speedway, Kilgore, TX
August 14 - Superbowl Speedway, Greenville, TX

Here is our growing list of Sprint Car drivers that have indicated their intent to participate with the Sprint Car Bandits Series in 2016, at the time of writing. We will update it as new drivers are added:

Brad Queen, Brad Welborn, Brandon Corn, Brandon Long, Charlie McDonald, Claud Estes III, Dale Wester, Gary Floyd, Jerry Bell, Justin Melton, Larry Howery, Larry Long, Logan Payne, Mark Huddleston, Martin Edwards, Michael Lang, Michelle Melton, Payton Williams, Raven Culp, Robert Byrom and Ryan Hall.

Currently, Sprint Car Bandits Series events are being limited to tracks in an approximate 150 mile radius of Dallas/Ft. Worth, as that is where the core of the driver base is for the Series. It also makes it easier for race fans that want to attend all Series events to do so.

The Sprint Car Bandits Series is not affiliated with any other sprint car organization, yet is cognizant of other events booked in this region and is not out to 'split' fans or teams. That being said, events will be booked on dates that work best for everyone, and for the betterment of the sport.
