Inside Line Promotions – LAKE STEVENS, Wash. (Dec. 7, 2015) – Princess Race Wear is developing a presence overseas.
The Washington State based apparel company, which was established to provide comfortable and unique clothing for all generations of women, has partnered with Australian micro sprint driver Lexi Underwood.
“I think it’s a great opportunity to support a female racer as well as market Princess Race Wear in Australia,” Princess Race Wear Founder Cheri Wheatley said. “We’re very excited to work with Lexi and to achieve success together.”
Underwood is a 22-year-old from Cairns, Queensland, who began racing go-karts at the age of 15. Three years later Underwood advanced into the Formula 500 class and since that time she has made a name for herself in racing.
“I love the sport as it’s not defined by gender,” she said. “As soon as the helmet goes on everyone is just another competitor. I think it is important to encourage females to join the male dominated sport and that’s why I like to take the time to mentor and encourage other females joining the sport.”
