Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (Oct. 27, 2015) – Jack Dover will return to competition this week during the 28th annual COMP Cams Short Track Nationals.

Dover is set to race on Wednesday at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark., during the Short Track Nationals Open prior to the marquee Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour event Thursday through Saturday.

“It’s always a toss-up when you race at Short Track Nationals,” he said. “There are a lot of good cars there so you have to be on point every time you hit the track. The goal is to pass cars each time you’re on the track to accumulate as many points as possible.”

Dover’s most recent highlight during the event came in 2012 when he won a preliminary night.

“Everything worked well that night,” he said. “We had a good heat race, a good qualifier and a good main event. That also locked us into the first three rows for the finale so we set ourselves up well.”

While Dover has won in preliminary action, he is seeking his first career Short Track Nationals crown.

“We know we’re capable of winning,” he said. “We just need to put together a consistent weekend. We have to be fast and catch the right breaks to be in position when the checkered flag is waved on Saturday.”

SEASON STATS –
