Freeman to Pilot A-Class Nonwing Micro Sprint Saturday at Gator Motorplex

Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (Oct. 12, 2015) – Cody Freeman has a unique opportunity this weekend.

Freeman will pilot a micro sprint for Gengo Racing on Saturday at Gator Motorplex in Willis, Texas, where he will make his A-Class nonwing debut with the Lonestar 600 Series.

“It’s going to be a challenge, but I’m really excited,” he said. “I want to thank everyone at Gengo Racing for this opportunity and I can’t wait to take advantage of it.”

Freeman said his goal is to gain as much experience as possible in the new class and to complete every lap, which will provide needed knowledge about how to drive a nonwing race car.

Freeman has earned a top-six result at Gator Motorplex during each of his four winged races at the bullring the last two seasons.

“That track can be confusing,” he said. “In the heat race it will be really tacky with no passing and in the feature people will be everywhere. It’ll be a good opportunity to learn more about the track and how to race nonwing there.”

Freeman is also planning to drive for Gengo Racing at Gator Motorplex on Oct. 31 during the 12th annual Halloween Havoc.
