This last weekend The Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprints ventured to I-80 Speedway for The Fearless 410 Finale and The Bobby Parker Memorial race. We had a little different format as we ran qualifying heats and Position dashes for the Speedway Motors and Bobby Parker Memorial A feature, Fridays Heat winners were , Jamie Ball from Knoxville Ia. , heat 2 winner Jack Dover Springfield,Ne, Heat three winner was Biily Alley out of Bennet,Ne.
For the Dashes the top 16 in passing points redrew for starting position in two dashes. Dash one was won by Wayne Johnson , Dash 2 By Don Droud Jr. To put a twist to it the two winners were offered a chance to start 15th and 16th respectably, If they agreed to do this they would double there winnings for the night. Both thought very hard about it, but declined saying the competition is too good to give up that many track positions. Toby Chapman won the last Chance Qualifier with 6 cars transfering to the Speedway Motors A Feature
The A feature was a little wild as we had a few cars getting into some wild crashes, The second lap of the A feature saw Jordan Martens of Sioux Falls, Sd get airborne and was done for the evening, next was Tony Rost he bounced over the cushion into the catch fence and almost cleared it. All drivers were ok . On a restart Jon Agan, Ryan Roberts , and Jordan Boston had a nasty crash going into corner one. All Drivers were ok cars didn't look good. Last restart of the night Wayne Jonhson held on to his very dominant car and drove a cross the line first, Don Droud Jr passed Jack Dover who blew a tire coming to checkered. Tyler Drueke finished fourth , with Jamie Ball coming home fifth.
Cody Ledger Took The Select Auto Body Hard Charger Award
Tyler Drueke won ESI Podium Draw.
Jack Dover Locked up The Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint series with his third place finish. He had a great year and was the person to beat most nights. Billy Alley was second in points , with Cody Ledger in third , Tyler Drueke in forth. Jordan Boston fith in points.
