Dupo, IL (September 30, 2015) With just a handful of races left in the 2015 season, Kyle Schuett is continuing his quest towards the POWRi Rookie of the Year honors. In addition to that, he has a legitimate shot at ending the season with a top five finish in the driver point standings. This past weekend, Kyle returned to Tri-State Speedway where he already has one top ten finish this season.
In heat race action, Kyle started third and finished third in a great race. Based on passing points, this put him lining up sixth in the 30-lap A-main event. Racing hard, Kyle was able to pick up another top ten finish by finishing tenth on the evening.
Up next for Schuett Racing will be this Friday at Belle-Clair Speedway for the 11th Annual Charlene Meents Memorial. It was during this race one year ago that young Schuett picked up his first POWRi micro sprint win. This year he will be aiming towards a podium finish in his Esslinger powered Boss Chassis midget. On Saturday night, POWRi will head to Macon Speedway to make up for a rained out race from earlier this season.
Kyle and his Schuett Racing team would like to thank everyone for their support and a big thank you to season sponsors - Illiana Insurance Agency, Progressive Propane, Bergfield Farms, KBR Performance, Rod End Supply, FK Indy, Hoosier Tire Midwest, AMSOIL by Roger Clapp, Steve Thomas Racing, Bell Racing, ButlerBuilt Professional Seat Systems, BOSS Chassis, R & B Powdercoating, J & K Rentals, and Keizer Wheels.
