Inside Line Promotions – FINDLAY, Ohio (Sept. 29, 2015) – Dale Blaney clinched his sixth UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions title last weekend thanks to another trip to Victory Lane.

Blaney and the Mainstream Holdings, Inc., backed CH Motorsports team captured Sunday’s feature at Millstream Speedway, where Blaney picked up his 12th All Star win of the season and first since Aug. 2.

“We had a good car from the time we unloaded,” he said. “I felt like we qualified pretty well. I left a little on the table in turns one and two and we were still sixth quick. We had a good start to the heat race and took the lead on Lap 2.”

Blaney qualified sixth quickest – second in his group – and quickly maneuvered from his third starting position into the lead during a heat race. The heat win locked him into the dash, where he pulled the No. 2 to start on the outside of the front row.

“We learned that we probably went too far in the dash and got it back where we were in the heat race and got it good again,” he said. “That comes down to making the dash and giving ourselves an opportunity to work on the car another time. We took advantage of being in the dash and got it back balanced where we were.”

Blaney placed second in the dash and took advantage of the extra time on the track.

“We had a great starting spot for the feature and jumped to the lead,” he said. “Leading is tough. Sometimes there will be guys coming and you don’t know where they are at. We plugged some holes in traffic and it worked out good.”

Blaney led the distance of the 30-lap feature to score his 16th win of the season.

However, it was last Friday that turned a recent string of frustrating finishes around for the Mainstream Holdings, Inc., sponsored team.

“I think a good race car on Friday in the feature brought back our mojo,” Blaney said. “We changed around a couple of things and the guys worked pretty hard at the shop all week.”

Blaney timed in 24th quickest during qualifying on Friday at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio, with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. He then advanced from sixth to fourth place in a heat race, which earned the 21st starting position for the main event.

“We didn’t qualify the best and we didn’t run the greatest in our heat race,” he said. “We made a couple more changes and got really good for the A Main. The track was really slick and you could run anywhere you wanted. I don’t know if there was a dominant lane. That made the cars be everywhere on the race track. It was easier to pass guys early. You had a lot of lanes to choose from and we were able to get by a bunch of them early. I would have liked to see a yellow early because we drove by about 10 of them in the first four laps.”

Blaney charged to a fifth-place result – his third top five of the season with the World of Outlaws – to garner the Hard Charger Award for passing the most cars.

Last Friday’s All Star event at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, rained out.

Blaney and the Mainstream Holdings, Inc., sponsored team are scheduled to race this Thursday through Saturday at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., for the 53rd annual National Open with the World of Outlaws.
