Inside Line Promotions – JEFFERSON, S.D. (Sept. 29, 2015) – Jack Dover took advantage of another dominant car last Sunday at Park Jefferson International Speedway, where he scored his 13th triumph of the season after nearly crashing on the start of the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprints feature.

“On the first start they threw the green and then the yellow right away,” he said. “I hit the car in front of me and that knocked my nose wing down. I was really irritated and mad. That was an extra reason to drive hard. I was worried that it would mess the handling up, but it wasn’t too bad.”

Dover, who opened the event by charging from seventh to third place in a heat race, also had to overcome a high redraw. He lined up on the outside of the fourth row for the main event after pulling the highest number – eight – during the feature redraw.

“I was feeling really confident,” he said. “Then I got fired up after that start. We got up to second right away just going wherever they weren’t. Once we got to second I waited for traffic and that’s where we got the lead around Lap 10 or 11.”

Dover led the remainder of the feature to earn his ninth victory of the year with the series, which he leads by 37 points heading into the final two races of the season this Friday and Saturday at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb.

Dover will also compete with the FVP National Sprint League during the doubleheader, which will mark the first time since 2007 that he has raced in the 410ci and 360ci classes on the same night.

“I’m always confident rolling into I-80 Speedway,” he said. “We’ve won there a lot so I think this will be a great weekend for the team and our sponsors.”

Dover has picked up four feature wins at the high-banked track this season.
