The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars ran Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway as a tune up for the National Open next weekend. Stevie Smith was back in town preparing for next week and took the feature event. It was Stevie's 9th series win of the year. Saturday night was the $20,000 to win Dirt Classic at Lincoln Speedway. Brian Montieth hadn't been in victory lane for a few month but picked a good night to change that. Brian won the feature and the $20,000 that came with it to give him nine wins for the year too.
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars run with the World of Outlaws this weekend for the 53rd Williams Grove Speedway National Open. The race has been expanded to a three day show starting Thursday night October 1st and ending on Saturday October 3rd. The weekend is also sponsored this year for the first time by Central PA Sprint Cars Series co-sponsor Champion Racing Oil.
Greg Hodnett leads the series points over Danny Dietrich with Brian Montieth 3rd.
