Inside Line Promotions – SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (Sept. 21, 2015) – Jason Sides will have his right-hand man back on the road for the remainder of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series season.

His brother, Paul, returns to the team beginning this weekend as the series races on Friday at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio, and Saturday at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich.

“It’s great to have Paul back on the road and hopefully we can pick up where we left off in the spring and early summer,” Jason Sides said.

Sides competed in the Clash at the Creek last Saturday at Deer Creek Speedway, where he qualified eighth quickest.

“We qualified good,” he said. “I was happy with that. Then in the heat race we were starting beside a different guy who don’t normally race with, but he broke a rocker arm and couldn’t start. That put (Daryn) Pittman on the pole. He got the jump. We were right there with him, but the track was still too fast in the heat races.”

Sides finished where he started – second – in a heat race, which missed a spot in the dash by only one position. That lined him up ninth for the main event.

“In the feature we tightened up and were too good too early,” he said. “The car was really good. We were passing for fourth at one point. If the track would have stayed we would have been really good, but the bottom started going away and we just struggled after that.”

Sides spent the first third of the race battling for a top five before he began to fade as the track did the same. He ended with a 13th-place result.

Friday’s Arnold Motor Supply Shootout at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa, rained out.
