Concord, NC—December 7, 2009—With the calendar still reading 2009 for a few more weeks, the 2010 season is well underway at the DIRTcar offices, especially in the Member Services Department. With completed 2010 Membership applications arriving in the mail daily, as well as being submitted online and even a couple hand delivered in person, drivers and crew members alike are taking full advantage of the off-season to get a head start on the new season by adding their name to the ever growing number of DIRTcar Members from coast-to-coast, as DIRTcar continues to be the nation’s largest short-track sanctioning body.
In 2010 all drivers in World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series events will be required to purchase a DIRTcar Membership for a one-time fee of $125, which will guarantee them all of the benefits of being a DIRTcar Member, including the expanded $500,000 Participant Accident Coverage.
All crew members are also encouraged to sign up to become a DIRTcar Member for a one-time fee of $80, which will entitle them to the $500,000 Participant Accident Coverage as well.
Renewal of a 2009 Membership can be completed online at www.dirtcarmembers.com. Simply, select the box titled “I Need to Renew my Membership,” which will then ask Members for their Membership Number and Postal Code in order to proceed. Once a member is logged in, they can update and edit their information from last year and pay for their renewal by credit card. In 2009 World of Outlaws Sprint Series participants received a complimentary membership. With the new Insurance program purchasing a membership is required.
Among the benefits of being a DIRTcar Member, is increased insurance coverage, with all Members participating at a World of Outlaws Sprint Series or DIRTcar sanctioned event included in DIRTcar Racing’s expanded Participant Accident Coverage program of $500,000.
Other benefits of being a DIRTcar Member include: Points funds, as DIRTcar Racing distributes hundreds of thousands of dollars through its national, regional, state and local point funds each year to champions across all divisions. In addition DIRTcar Members take part in premier events, have standardized rules, receive national media coverage, have access to various discount offers from DIRTcar partners, receive the DIRTcar Newsletter and have exclusive access to DIRTcarMEMBERS.com, the member’s only website with member profile information, access to registration forms, special offers, and much more.
Anna Walker, the Membership Coordinator for DIRTcar, will be at the PRI Trade Show this week in Orlando, Florida to answer questions about DIRTcar Membership and also will have 2010 applications available for participants to complete and submit.
“With a DIRTcar Membership, drivers and crew receive many benefits including the new $500,000 Participant Accident Coverage plan, that no other dirt track sanctioning body offers,” explained Walker. “In addition to that, we also have a new interactive website dedicated to DIRTcar Members where each member can find information on rules, technical bulletins and much more.”
