FINAL Red River Speedway ASCS EVENT of 2015 THIS FRIDAY!

Wichita Falls, TX (8/24/15) by DarinShort.com. Red River Speedway (RRS) near Wichita Falls, Texas will host its final ASCS Red River Region event of 2015 this coming Friday, August 28th.

A reminder to race fans that the ASCS Sooner and Lone Star regions were combined in 2015, forming the Red River Region, so you will see a great mix of sprint car drivers from throughout the region! Plus, this Friday is the only ASCS event in the country, so it will be interesting to see what 'invading' drivers may show up.

One of those invading drivers indicating he will be on hand at Red River Speedway this Friday night is Sam Hafertepe, Jr. of Sunnyvale, Texas. Sam has experienced a roller coaster season after suffering an arm injury earlier in the year. However, the day after his doctor's release, he entered and won both ASCS Red River Region events on July 24th and 25th.

ASCS Sprint Car drivers such as RRS hot shoe John Carney II, Kade Morton, Shawn Petersen, Joe Wood Jr, Mickey Walker, Chance Morton, Brandon Hanks, Andy Shouse, Alex Sewell, Harli White, Charles McManus, Kevin Ramey, Jake Martens, Fred Mattox, John Kelly, Jordan Weaver, Michael Lang - plus a host of others. The RaceSaver Sprint Cars are scheduled off at RRS on August 28th.

Joining the ASCS Sprint Cars will be special events for the USRA Modifieds (paying $1,000/win) and IMCA Southern SportMods (paying $600 to win). The Pro Stocks and Mini Stocks will round out the 5-division racing card and each will be racing for $400 to win. Click http://www.RRSpeedway.com for complete purse breakdown, and rules are posted under the 'driver' tab.

Adult tickets are $17 (ages 12-64), while ages 6-11 are $5. Seniors 65+/Active Military can enjoy the racing program for just $12. All pit passes for all ages are $35.
