NATIONAL SPRINT CAR MUSEUM UNVEILS NEW GF1-Ti22/SHAVER SPRINT RAFFLE CAR TODAY

The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation will debut its eleventh museum-benefit raffle car today, which is a brand-new, state-of-the-art 410-cubic-inch Shaver-powered winged GF1-Ti22sprint car. The car will be on display outside of the non-profit museum in Knoxville from August 8 through August 15 during the Iowa Speed Week, including next week’s 55th annual FVP Knoxville Nationals.

According to museum executive director Bob Baker, "We can't thank George Fisher of GF1-Ti22 and Ron Shaver of Shaver Racing Specialties enough for all of their support on this 18-month project. These two companies and all the rest of the product donors continue to step up to the plate in a big way for our 501(c)(3) non-profit museum foundation. Sprint car racing fans across the country can look forward to seeing the GF1-Ti22/Shaver raffle car this summer and fall as museum special events coordinator Mike Noftsger takes it to most of the major shows.”

Raffle tickets, which are twenty dollars apiece or six tickets for one hundred dollars, can be purchased at the sprint car itself, in the museum store, or by phone toll-free at 1-800-874-4488. The winning ticket for this eleventh museum-benefit raffle will be drawn in December of 2016.

Those builders and manufacturers who are participating in this raffle are GF1-Ti22, Shaver Specialties, C.A. Kustoms, Auto Meter, Astro Titanium, Schroeder Torsion Bars, Winters Performance Products, Allstar Performance, Fuel Safe Racing Cells, Wilwood Disc Brakes, Sweet Manufacturing, Butlerbuilt Professional Seat Systems, Vahlco, Hoosier Tire, Super Shox, Hooker Harness, Kinsler Fuel Injection, Hepfner Racing Products, P-Ayr, Rod End Supply, and Shaver-Wesmar Gear Drive.
