Inside Line Promotions – GREENWOOD, Neb. (Aug. 4, 2015) – Andee Beierle gained a lot of experience and confidence last weekend when she made her debut at I-80 Speedway during the FVP National Sprint League’s Road to Knoxville.

Beierle took advantage of the seat time en route to a pair of top 20s, including setting a career-best result in a 410ci sprint car each night.

“It was incredible,” she said. “It was exactly what I wanted to happen. I met all my goals. I got to complete the laps and I ended up doing even better than I thought I would results-wise. I could see an improvement each night. I kept getting faster and more confident. It’s hard racing with professionals, but I feel like it makes the learning curve a lot shorter.”

Beierle opened the event on Thursday by qualifying 20th quickest. She then finished seventh in a heat race to garner the 20th starting position for the main event on the high-banked track. Beierle picked up a pair of positions to post an 18th-place finish.

“It was a lot of fun,” she said. “It’s all a learning process and I’m glad to be out there competing. It doesn’t matter where I finish as long as the car is in one piece.”

She returned to I-80 Speedway on Friday, when the action began with Beierle timing in 19th quickest during qualifying. She ended eighth in a heat race to line up on the inside of the 10th row for the feature.

“At the beginning of the weekend I was really timid and didn’t know what to expect,” she said. “By the end of Friday night I knew what to expect from the car and how it handled. I had a good feel for the speed and acceleration.”

Beierle gained a couple of spots on the track en route to a 17th-place result, which is her career-best finish in the division.

“I know I’m doing better,” she said. “I just need more time to keep improving. I’m really excited to get back in the car again to keep learning and moving forward.”

Beierle is scheduled to make her debut at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, next Monday during the Front Row Challenge with the FVP National Sprint League.
