Inside Line Promotions – LINCOLN, Neb. (Aug. 3, 2015) – Mark Burch Motorsports has its eyes on the bigger prize this weekend during the 25th annual Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals.
Danny Lasoski has driven the team to preliminary victories two of the past three years during the prestigious event at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, but the ultimate prize is still missing.
“Our goal is to not only go in there and win our preliminary night, we want to win the weekend,” Lasoski said. “When you roll into the 360 Knoxville Nationals it’s no different than the 410 Knoxville Nationals. You have to have a lot of luck on your side.”
The team ran into some bad luck last year during 360 Knoxville Nationals preliminary action when Lasoski was forced to pull off the track while running fourth with three laps remaining because of a mechanical problem.
He won the B Main during the finale before charging from 21st to 10th in the main event, which marked the third straight year the team earned a top-10 finish at the marquee race.
“This year it’s been feast or famine with us,” Lasoski said. “We’ve been in Victory Lane or we’ve had our troubles. I know Mark will put together a great car so hopefully we will stay in contention throughout the weekend.”
Mark Burch Motorsports has earned three straight top-five finishes, including its first victory of the season, entering this Thursday’s preliminary night.
