Brent Marks Earns Top-Ten During Williams Grove Speedway ‘Summer Nationals’
Williams Grove and Port Royal Next on the Agenda

Myerstown, PA (July 27th, 2015) - Brent Marks earned his third World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series top-ten finish of the 2015 season during the recent weekend; crossing under the checkers seventh in the running order during the annual “Summer Nationals” finale at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Marks, pilot of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, Russell Heller Builders, #19M, started eighth during the 30-lap, $20,000-to-win “Summer Nationals” A-main on Saturday, July 25th; improving one position to secure his second World of Outlaws top-ten finish in his last five WoO starts. Marks qualified for main event competition by winning his respective heat race. The “Myerstown Missile” would go on to finish eighth during the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series dash.
“Not a bad weekend for us” said Marks, “Battled some engine troubles for a big portion of the weekend but we got things figured out. I feel like we were just as good on Friday night but got into some trouble late in the race. All in all, pretty good weekend. Proud of my team. We never give up and that is what makes this team special. We’ll spend the upcoming weekend close to home and prepare to head west the week after.”
Brent Marks kicked off the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series “Summer Nationals” weekend at Williams Grove Speedway with a 24th place finish during the opener on Friday night, July 24th. After starting in the 11th row, the Myerstown, Pennsylvania native surged forward and was racing as high as 12th in the running order before getting turned around on the front stretch with one circuit remaining. Marks would be scored 24th.
“BMR” will spend the upcoming weekend racing close to home as they prepare to venture west with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series once again. Marks will visit the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, July 31st for a regular “410” program. Following his “Grove” visit, Marks will make the short trip north to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday, August 1st. The “19M” operation will be traveling west to compete with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 on August 7th & 8th, all before heading to the “Sprint Car Capital of the World” - Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa on August 12th - 15th.
