The third annual World of Outlaws World Finals will take center stage on Monday (November 2) at Noon Eastern on “On Track On Radio,” hosted by veteran motorsports journalist Tim Tuttle for Sports Illustrated and SI.com along with fellow longtime racing reporter Steve Page on RaceFanRadio.com. World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series driver Jason Meyers will join the pair along with current World of Outlaws Late Model Series point leader Steve Francis, as the World of Outlaws will be the main feature of the hour-long show.

Meyers will help preview the sprint car portion of the upcoming World Finals for the World of Outlaws at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina, November 5-7 and talk about the battle for the series championship that has him just 19 markers behind three-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz.

Meyers has won eight A-Feature events this season and nine times overall and leads the World of Outlaws with 53 Top-10 finishes. He leads the series with nine wins in the Crane Cams Dash to earn pole positions in feature events and has been quickest in time trials on eight occasions. Heading into the third annual World Finals at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway this coming weekend, the native of Clovis, California has finished eighth or better in 15 consecutive events as he chases his first series title.

Francis heads into The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway with a slim four-point lead on Josh Richards in the battle for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series title. Francis, the 2007 series champion, has won six times this season and has racked up 31 Top-10 finishes with 25 of those being Top-Five performances. The native of Ashland, Kentucky finished fourth earlier this season at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway in the Colossal 100.

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will begin the World Finals a day early, with the rescheduled Topless Showdown Presented by Hungry-Man on Wednesday, November 4, with one driver having a shot at a possible $30,000 payday with the special “Passing Bonus” of $1,000 multiplied by starting position awarded to the winner the 50-lap Showdown in effect for eligible drivers.
