Inside Line Promotions – FORNEY, Texas (July 13, 2015) – Travis Rilat will return to his own sprint car this weekend during an ASCS Gulf South Region doubleheader.
Rilat is set to compete on Friday at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas, and Saturday at Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas. He has earned a podium finish during three out of four combined races at the tracks this season.
“We get around Golden Triangle and Battleground really well,” he said. “We’ve won races at both tracks and I feel very confident that we’ll be in contention this weekend.”
Rilat was victorious at both tracks last season and he has a three-year winning streak at Battleground Speedway.
“I want to keep the winning streak at Battleground going and start a streak at Golden Triangle so I better be on top of my game this weekend,” he said.
Rilat has recorded 10 top fives during 17 races this season, including four top fives in his last five races in Texas.
