Nineteen-year-old Aaron Reutzel will be among the top honorees when the Eighth Annual ASCS Gulf South Awards Banquet takes place on Saturday, November 14.
The Eighth Annual ASCS Gulf South Awards Banquet will be held at the Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles, LA, off the I-10 Westlake exit on the west side of the Lake Charles bridge.
The evening's festivities will be in the Paradise Ballroom, downstairs in the lobby. The cash bar opens at 6:00 p.m., with dinner served at 7:00 p.m. and awards presented at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are $30 per person and must be paid in advance. Payment and banquet reservations must be received at ASCS, 251 Ella Street, Eunice LA 70535, by November 2.
Rooms are also available in the Tower attached to the Casino for $129 plus taxes. For room reservations, call 1-888-475-3847 and use Group Code "ASCS09". Room reservations must be made by Saturday, October 31 at midnight. Forty rooms are blocked for the banquet.
The top 15 drivers in points will receive awards and cash prizes. All drivers finishing in the top 30 in points and in attendance will be eligible for door prizes, with everyone invited to attend.

Reutzel became the seventh different champion in ASCS Gulf South history, taking the 2009 crown by 140 markers over fellow teen contender Channin Tankersley. Others among the final top 15 in ASCS Gulf South points include Tommy Bryant, Scottie McDonald, Brandon Berryman, Kent Lewis, Jr., Greg Rilat, Gary Watson, Ray Allen Kulhanek, Eric Baldaccini, Jimmy Brooks, Klint Angelette, Bean Elliott, Travis Elliott and Bruce Griffith, Jr.
