[bTULARE, CA 10-23-09 -] Sebastapol’s Bradley Terrell returned to what he considers his favorite racing event Friday evening, the first of two days of racing in the 16th annual Trophy Cup at the Tulare Thunderbowl in Tulare, California. Despite a tough outing in qualifying, Terrell rallied back in the B main event to secure a good starting position in heat racing tonight (Saturday).

“Qualifying 37th was a tough break for us,” said Terrell. “But I did everything I could to come up through the B main to give us a pretty good staring position in the heat race tonight. I’m hoping to earn as many points as possible leading up to the feature races.”

When Terrell said he did everything he could in the Friday’s B-feature he wasn’t exaggerating. The 2009 runner-up to the Petaluma Speedway All Pro Sprint Car Championship started all the way back in the ninth row of the semi-feature and charged his way into the top ten.

Tonight, Terrell will start the evening off with a second row starting position in heat racing at the Tulare Thunderbowl. The annual Trophy Cup utilizes a unique format where points are awarded throughout the entire program to determine the race champions. The event closes the California sprint car racing season and is a common favorite among competitors.

Bradley Terrell ‘s financial supporters for the #43 sprint car include Argonaut Const, Millhouse Glass, the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, Randy Hanson Auto Body and Paint.
