Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway Postpon

Rain has forced the postponement of the Commonwealth Clash for the World of Outlaws at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania originally scheduled for Saturday, September 26. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 31 and will now be the third to final race of the season.

Following a fourth-place finish on Friday night at Eldora Speedway in Ohio, coupled with being the fastest in time trials, Jason Meyers cut nine more points off three-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz’s lead in the series standings and now trails by just nine markers, with Joey Saldana third, 38 points out of the lead. Eight points paying event remain on the 2009 schedule for the World of Outlaws including the rescheduled Commonwealth Clash.

The World of Outlaws return to action on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 at the famed Williams Grove Speedway in Pennsylvania for the National Open. The Crane Cams Dash and A-Feature from the Summer Nationals which was postponed by rain back in July will also be run on Friday, October 2 following time trials for the opener of the National Open.
