Corn Belt Clash and MARS DIRTcar Late Models are coming to Siouxland for a Thursday showdown. The First Annual Mark Lloyd Memorial presented by BillionAuto.com will bring some of the best Late Model drivers in the Midwest to Park Jefferson Speedway on Thursday, June 25th. Current Corn Belt Clash points leader Dave Eckrich will look to extend his lead over Jason Utter, Chad Simpson, Terry Phillips, Ryan Gustin, and Jesse Stovall.
Tony Jackson Jr. is the current MARS DIRTcar series points leader. Jackson Jr. looks to extend his point lead over Justin Asplin, Brandon McCormick, Brian Schutt, and Jeff Roth. Drivers from both series’ will race together as they battle for the $3,000 winner’s check.
Look for Chad Simpson, Jesse Stovall, and Terry Philips to be the favorites on Thursday, based off the fact that they lead all the laps in Corn Belt Clash action at Park Jefferson Speedway in May 29th and 30th feature action, with Chad Simpson and Jesse Stovall claiming victory in two exciting feature races.
J&J Fitting Stock Cars will be racing on Thursday night for an increased purse. Come see if a WISSOTA or USRA Stock Car from the north can best any of the IMCA cars, as drivers like Chris Mills look to take down 2015 winners Elijah Zevenbergen, Chris Palsrok, and Kyle Prauner.
An increased purse will be up for grabs in the Pederson Machine Sport Mod division. USRA and WISSOTA B Modifieds are invited to run with the IMCA cars. Todd Boulware and Kaleb Kennedy have been tough to beat this year as both have two wins. Look for Kirk Beatty to join the two win club, or Karl Brewer to get his first win after five impressive top five finishes on the year.
We are working on the driver list for Thursdays Mark Lloyd Memorial. Below is the tentative list of late model drivers that we will be updating. We also have a list for Sport Mods and Stock Cars. Feel free to let us know if we missed a driver that you know is coming so we can add them!
