Inside Line Promotions – FORNEY, Texas (June 22, 2015) – Travis Rilat is aiming for his first career Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup title this weekend during the 44th edition of the $15,000-to-win event.

Rilat will drive for Richard Saumure during the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour tripleheader Thursday through Saturday at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., where the winner will walk away with $15,000.

“We have one goal in mind and that’s to win,” Rilat said. “There is a lot of money and prestige on the line this weekend. I think we are more than capable of winning the Dirt Cup.”

Rilat and Saumure have teamed up to earn 10 top 10s during 14 races at the high-banked track since the start of the 2013 season. Six of those results were podium finishes, including three runner-up results.

“We have a good track record there so I feel confident that we will be in contention,” he said. “We were pretty good earlier this year. I think we can run up front and hopefully that’s where we will be as the checkered flag is waved on Saturday.”

Rilat placed second and fourth during his two races at Skagit Speedway this season.
