Inside Line Promotions – BEDFORD, Pa. (June 10, 2015) – Caleb Helms has a busy schedule on tap for this weekend.

Helms will venture to a trio of tracks in the Northeast with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, including a pair of races in Central Pennsylvania against the vaunted PA Posse.

“The competition is always stout in Central Pennsylvania and you know there are a ton of locals who will be contenders,” he said. “I’m looking forward to the challenge.”

Helms kicks off the weekend on Thursday at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in Canandaigua, N.Y., before tackling Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., on Friday and Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., on Saturday.

“Our goal is to make every feature, run competitive laps all night and see where that puts us,” he said. “We’ve struggled with consistency this season so that’s a big focus for the team right now.”

Helms is coming off an All Star doubleheader in Eastern Pennsylvania.

He qualified eighth quickest and finished seventh in a heat race last Saturday at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial. Helms then won the B Main before placing 20th in the main event.

The weekend concluded on Sunday at Bedford Speedway, where Helms timed in ninth quickest during qualifying and he ended third in a heat race to lock into the ninth starting position for the main event.

“We struggled with grip and forward bite at both tracks last weekend,” he said. “Bedford had a little more moisture in the track, but we never seemed to get rolling in the main event.”

Helms finished with a 15th-place result. He ranks 10th in the All Star championship standings.
