Will Gerrits won his second straight 15-lap Badger 600 Micro Series presented by My Race Pass feature Sunday Night at Angell Park Speedway, increasing his series points lead. Jake Gerrits took the lead at the start of the feature, while tight racing took place behind the rookie driver.
Gerrits increased his lead each lap,and appeared headed for victory when his car slowed, with five laps remaining causing a caution. Will Gerrits assumed the lead on the rest and ran the final five laps unchallenged for the victory. Chad Bogar, heat winner Norm Ehrke, Tyler Brabant, and defending series champion Brandon Sletten completed the top five.
“Its great to get a second straight win at AngellPark Speedway, the season is off to a great start for myself and teammates” commented Gerrits after the victory.
