There’s a new King in California. . . Jake Andreotti at only eleven years old in his Rookie year grabs the King of California title in the 600 restricted class after 26 hard fought races! Uni Steer Performance helps out in a huge way with a new replacement power steering system sent next day air to arrive the day before the last race. As you can see, the new system worked great!

The chase in the King of California, a series of 26 races at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia, CA and Lemoore Raceway in Lemoore, CA, began on August 9th with Jake in his newly wrapped K&N Filter micro sprint. On this day the points reset to the chase format with Jake trailing the leader by 7 points. He went into the final race weekend 19 points behind the leader to win the title by 7 points! A hard fought chase between ten very competitive drivers made this one exciting challenge. A challenge at the two toughest dirt tracks in California is where Jake and his 7p K&N Filter Pace micro sprint was crowned the King of California. He was also awarded with the Plaza Park Championship title as well as Rookie of the Year. We achieved goals once thought to be unreachable. It was a long tough battle with the most competitive, most talented drivers in California and Jake came out on top in his rookie year. Like the announcer said, “He came down here for the competition and now he has become the competition”!
