One of the beauties of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series circuit is that tracks vary from high-speed and sprawling to bullrings that are tight and extra challenging. One that is on the smaller side and provides some of the most exciting wheel-to-wheel and wing-to-wing action of the season is Kokomo Speedway in Indiana. The quarter-mile will host the World of Outlaws again this season on Wednesday, June 3.
The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has paid a visit to Kokomo Speedway each of the last three years, with three different drivers picking up wins in those events. Over the years, 14 drivers have been victorious with the series at Kokomo.

Kraig Kinser, who hails from Bloomington, Indiana, has won twice at Kokomo Speedway, which leads active drivers competing full-time with the World of Outlaws. He earned his first win with the series at the quarter-mile in 2005 and followed that up with another victory in 2012. Fellow Hoosier, Joey Saldana, won with the series at Kokomo in 2007.
Donny Schatz, the six-time and defending series champion, who drives for Indiana-based Tony Stewart Racing, won for the first time at Kokomo last year. Schatz is the current series point leader and has racked up 11 A-Feature wins thus far in 2015.
Kokomo Speedway hosted the World of Outlaws for the first time during the series inaugural 1978 campaign. Steve Kinser, the 20-time series champion, who competed in his last full-time season with the series last year, captured that win and recorded six wins over the years with the series. Fellow Hall of Famers that have won World of Outlaws races at Kokomo along with Kinser includes three-time series titlist Sammy Swindell, Jac Haudenschild, Danny Lasoski, Dave Blaney and Bobby Davis Jr.

Fans can also take advantage of the O’Reilly Auto Parts $5 OFF Special and receive $5 OFF when purchasing a General Admission ticket at participating O’Reilly Auto Parts Stores. The ticket buyer will exchange their O’Reilly receipt for a ticket at the Main Grandstand ticket booth on race day.
