On Saturday, August 29th join 10,000 of your closest friends under the stars at Huset’s Speedway for the Farewell to Huset’s Speedway Concert brought to you by Badlands Entertainment Group and benefiting the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy. Spend the night rocking out with Night Ranger, Grand Funk Railroad and witness the world premiere of the Badlands House Band.
“You never know what special guests will show up to perform with the Badlands House Band, but I can guarantee that you will not want to miss it,” said CEO Chuck Brennan. “This is the first official Badlands Entertainment Group event and the world premiere of the Badlands House Band, so we are pulling out all the stops.”
The Badlands House Band is led by Metal Cowboy, Ron Keel and joined by local Sioux Falls drum legend Jeff Koller, also known to regional rock fans as the popular radio personality The Rev, lead guitarist David Cothern from Columbus, Ohio, bassist Geno Arce, and guitarist Mark Woerpel (formerly with Blackfoot).
This epic night of rock will celebrate Huset’s 62 successful years and the passing of the checkered flag to Badlands Motor Speedway. This event will unveil the brand new, state of the art, outdoor concert venue that will host numerous events throughout the year. Badlands Entertainment Group will continue to make improvements to the speedway all the way up until opening day for the 2016 season as it will then officially be Badlands Motor Speedway.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale July 1st at www.badlandspawn.com and are $30 each (plus applicable fees) for general admission. You can also purchase your tickets at any South Dakota Dollar Loan Center location or at Huset’s Speedway to receive two general admission tickets for the price of one. The two for one ticket promotion will end on August 22nd. Tickets are $30 at the gate (plus applicable fees).
Dollar Loan Center Gold Circle VIP tickets are also available for $100 apiece and they include a private bar, private restrooms, VIP parking, a line pass and the best view at the speedway, right up front in the action. Get your Dollar Loan Center Gold Circle VIP tickets early, as there are a limited number available.
Parking will be $10 a vehicle so carpooling is recommended. The parking area will open at 4:30pm with doors opening at 5:30pm. All of the information can be found at www.badlandspawn.com and be sure to check back for updates.
