For the second racing event in a row, Michael raced to a top ten finish in the "A" Feature at Flint Creek Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. As with a race earlier this season in Lawton, Michael drew the highest number assigning starting positions in the heat races, thus starting the last heat in the last position (8th).
Finishing his heat in 6th place, earned Michael a spot in the "B" Feature. After crossing the line in 4th for the "B", Michael started the "A" in 16th place. Methodically passing cars and racing through the dust, Michael piloted the Finish Line Coatings, Triple X Chassis, Stewart Engine sprinter to 10th place. No other driver passed more cars in the "A" than Michael did.
The previously scheduled race at Ada a week ago was rained out and the next race (Salina) was cancelled due to threats of severe weather and rain. The OCRS returns to Caney, Kansas next week.
