Outlaw opener this Sunday

Outlaw sprint cars will roar to life this Sunday when the Dollar Loan Center Outlaw Sprint start their 2015 season at Huset’s Speedway.

The season promises to be an exciting one for the Dollar Loan Center outlaw sprints. An injury to Terry McCarl has left the eight-time and defending champion’s 2015 schedule in question. Meanwhile, the most recent Dollar Loan Center Outlaw Sprint feature winner, Austin McCarl is prepared for a full season at the Brandon, South Dakota, speedway.

Austin McCarl’s victory came at the season championship where the winner picked up $10,000 courtesy of Dollar Loan Center. Another 10-grand will go to the Dollar Loan Center Outlaw Sprint feature winner at the 2015 championship event scheduled for September 13.

Tim Kaeding is the new pilot of the Lunstra Motorsports car. With the number 3 on the win, Kaeding, a former World of Outlaws feature winner at Huset’s, will be competing on Sundays for the championship in Brandon as well as at Knoxville and on the NSL tour.

Mark Dobmeier will keep his familiar number 13 while he gets behind the wheel of a relatively new team based in North Dakota. Dobmeier expects to compete at most of the 2015 Huset’s events.

The newly formed FVP National Sprint League adds some extra icing to the already delicious Huset’s schedule. The road warriors of the NSL visit Huset’s an impressive four times, including Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
