TULSA, Okla. (May 11, 2015) After bitter cold and rain put an end to the original opening weekend for the 2015 season with the ASCS Frontier Region, the North’s finest Sprint Car drivers will make the trip to the Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont. for a double-header in the Montana Sprint Car Shootout.
Since the region’s inception in 2013, the Electric City Speedway has seen 14 events with eight winners. Joe Ramaker holds the lions share with six to his credit. Phil Dietz is the only other multi race winner with a pair of wins during the 2013 season. Bill Boyce, Brad Loyet, Dennis MacEachern, J.J. Hickle, T.J. Hartman, and Tony Bruce, Jr. have each earned a single victory at the Montana oval.
Slated for this Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16 at the quarter-mile bullring, this weekend marks the first of eight nights for the Montana based Sprint Car series in Great Falls. Both nights, races are scheduled to begin at 7:30 P.M. (MT).
