Freeman Tackling TOWR Doubleheader in Texas This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (May 11, 2015) – Cody Freeman will tackle a Texas doubleheader this weekend with the TOWR Series.

Freeman will make his career debut at Boyd Raceway in Boyd on Friday before wrapping up the weekend on Saturday at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville.

“I’m really excited to go to a new track,” he said. “It’s always fun to have that challenge when it’s your first time. I think we can come out of the box strong and put together a great night.”

Freeman was victorious earlier this season at Superbowl Speedway and he finished eighth during his lone event at the track in 2014.

“That was a really fun race a couple months ago,” he said. “We learned some things with the setup that should help this weekend as well. We’ve got a great shot at earning another win there.”

Freeman, who took last weekend off because of weather concerns in Oklahoma, has recorded four top fives in five outdoor races this season. His only race not finishing in the top five was a sixth-place result after he started 13th.

“We have been really consistent this year,” he said. “It’s nice rolling into the race track with a lot of confidence.”
