Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (May 4, 2015) – Big Game Motorsports will return to FVP National Sprint League action with a doubleheader this weekend.
Danny Lasoski and the Muddy sponsored team will compete on Friday at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb., and on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, where the team has been rained out each of the past three weeks.
“The rain is getting pretty aggravating, but there’s nothing you can do about it,” Lasoski said. “We have a great team ready to win races and Mother Nature hasn’t allowed us to compete lately. Hopefully this weekend is the weekend we can get back at it since it’s a big doubleheader for the National Sprint League.”
Phil Durst of Durst Motorplex is offering a $20,000 bonus for any driver who can win both main events at Eagle Raceway and Knoxville Raceway this weekend.
“Phil and his family have been big supporters of me and of racing for a long time,” Lasoski said. “It’s great to see him involved with the NSL. My goal is to go win both races this weekend to claim that bonus.”
Lasoski ranks fourth in the NSL championship standings after setting quick time during qualifying and earning a sixth-place result during the inaugural race on April 11.
Lasoski is the winningest driver in the storied history of Knoxville Raceway and he picked up a victory in 2013 during his last race at Eagle Raceway.
