Michael Faccinto to Compete in Micros, Midgets, and Sprints with Packed 2015 Schedule!

HANFORD, CA - If a 2014 season full of 12 victories, a Tulsa Shootout title, a King of California championship, and a Super 600 Nationals win, was not good enough for Michael Faccinto, then 2015 should easily fill that void. Set to compete in micro sprints, midgets, and sprint cars all over the state of California will have the Hanford native with his hands full from February to October.

An impressive schedule reigning nine months long at over 20 different tracks in several different machines will give the 24-year old talent plenty of time behind the seat. All of that racing will in fact kick off this Saturday night at Delta Speedway as Faccinto races on his home turf for the first time since winning his second career “Golden Driller” in January.

After that incredible performance in the 55-lap Outlaw feature in Tulsa, the CS9 Chassis, Factory Kahne, Seros Racing Engines No. 7J was retired to the shadows of the shop. However, Faccinto will still seek out plenty of micro sprint action in 2015 as he runs the Kasiner Farms, CS9 Chassis, Factory Kahne No. 21G.

The recently crowned “King of California” will also compete in several midget events this year as well. Running the same Spike/Chevy No. 35F he ran at the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in January, Faccinto will find action at the Tulare Thunderbowl, Silver Dollar Speedway, Placerville Speedway, and more.

The most exciting opportunity of 2015 is perhaps neither a micro or midget ride, however, as Faccinto will pilot a Steve Watt Enterprises, Maxwell Industries No. 81 sprint car. A stout schedule plotted all across the “Golden State” will have Faccinto traveling week in and week out as he chases a lifelong dream.

One event on the schedule that not only has Faccinto, but all of California and racers across the country excited is the Driven Performance “California Speedweek” from July 8-11. Running at Dixon, Delta, Plaza Park, and Lemoore for four straight nights will be an interesting challenge to all racers, and Faccinto plans on being a frontrunner to win the inaugural championship.

Walker Racing Promotions will have more details on Faccinto’s action packed 2015 season as they are worked out and will then be released. We look forward to working with Michael as we bring you the latest coverage, results, news, and stories over what is anticipated to be another great year.
