Brent Marks Eager to Return to Knoxville and Eldora in 2015
Season Set to Begin on Saturday at Lincoln

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Myerstown, PA (March 12, 2015) - Despite a loaded upcoming schedule with dozens of high profile events in all areas of the country, Brent Marks has two programs circled on his list that attract most of his attention. Marks, who pilots the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, no. 19M ‘410’ sprint car, circled Knoxville Raceway’s ‘Knoxville Nationals’ and Eldora Speedway’s ‘Kings Royal’ as two high prioritized events for 2015, but not for obvious reasons. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania native is anxious to return to both events where ‘unforeseen misfortune’ kept Brent Marks Racing from their maximum potential.

“I think I’m looking forward to Eldora and Knoxville the most” explained Brent Marks, “We had a really strong car the night of the Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway last year but had some wing tree issues...we qualified for the show and had a really good starting position, but problems with the wing tree caused the left side of the wing to collapse...sometimes things happen that you can’t control...at Knoxville we had a great qualifying night...we timed 15th and started 6th in our heat...drove to second but a caution came out...on the first restart, we drove to third and the caution came out again...on the second restart, we didn’t get a good start...that took away a potentially great points night for us...we made the Saturday night C-main but didn’t get to race much of it because we got involved in a huge wreck on the start...we just want to get back to both of those places and basically pick up where we left off.”

Brent Marks is scheduled to launch his 2015 season this Saturday afternoon, March 14th at the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The annual ‘Icebreaker 30’ will feature a $4,000-to-win main event for the ‘410’ sprint cars. The Lincoln Speedway season opener was originally scheduled for February 21st but has since been pushed back multiple weekends due to winter weather conditions.

“All in all, we are looking forward to our entire season” said Marks, “We have a nice schedule put together...I can’t wait to see new places and meet new people...we want to spread the word about our great sponsors who make travel like this possible...BAPS, Creekside Auto, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller; they all make our schedule possible...we are better prepared than ever...we made a couple adjustments to our car’s aerodynamics package and shock package...we are excited to get the season underway.”
