Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (March 2, 2015) – Big Game Motorsports is venturing west this week in search of a victory during a tripleheader with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.
Danny Lasoski will pilot the Muddy No. 2 sprint car on Wednesday and Thursday at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas in Las Vegas for the FVP Outlaw Showdown before wrapping up the week on Saturday at USA Raceway in Tucson, Ariz., for the NAPA Wildcat Shootout.
“When you race with the World of Outlaws you’re racing with the best of the best,” he said. “We started the season in Florida really consistent. We’d like to capitalize on that with at least a win out there.”
Lasoski, who opened the season in the Muddy sponsored car by earning two top fives and three top 10s in five races in Florida, will be competing this week at a pair of tracks where he has been victorious. Lasoski won World of Outlaws races at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas in 1999, 2001 and 2003.
“It’s a big half mile,” he said. “It seems to favor my driving style. They always have that place where you can drive all over. They give us a top and a bottom to race on and that’s all we can ask for.”
Lasoski has earned two top 10s in his last three World of Outlaws races at USA Raceway. He has won 360ci races at the fast track, but is searching for his first Outlaws victory there.
“We’ve seen different track conditions there,” he said. “I’ve seen it where it’s one lane and I’ve seen it where it’s slick. Last year we had a wind storm and we wrecked during the dash. Hopefully this week we’ll have good conditions and be in contention for a win.”
