The 2014 racing season officially came to a close for the CRSA Sprint Car Tour this past weekend as nearly one hundred members, family and friends came out to eat, drink, dance, and witness the award ceremony for our drivers. Twenty one drivers were in attendance and none left empty handed as each one was brought up for pictures and a little something to show our appreciation for their support through out the season.
The evening started with a "Happy Hour" and then an awesome dinner buffet, put on by the staff of the Holiday Inn Oneonta.
A " Thank you" was then giving to Debbie VanDusen for putting together the banquet along with the many jobs she does for the series throughout the year.
Ken Marshall then took the stand thanking all the race day officials and staff as they were recognized with a nice CRSA windbreaker.
Then it was time for the awards...

Cliff Craft, on behave of Kennedy Towing, then presented a plaque to ART KISER, but not until he was done "roasting" him over. Art has hung up his helmet after his many decades of racing. He raced many different race tracks, in many different divisions, and was a true racer at heart. Both of his sons are racers and many of his former pit crew members also race or at least have. He is actually, indirectly, the reason NASCAR driver Brad Keslowski's crew chief, Paul Wolfe, got into racing. Paul's dad was Arts crew chief back in the 70's and 80's and Paul grew up racing carts with his son Mike.
