TULSA, Okla. (November 5, 2014) For the 2015 season, drivers in the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner and Smiley's Racing Products Lone Star Regions will race under a single banner as the regions will rejoin to create the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products.

"With so many co-sanctioned events despite the regions being split into separate championship chases, it makes sense to rejoin the tours," commented ASCS Regional Coordinator, Terry Mattox. "Even with events still sanctioned with other tours, this will reduce the number considerably to make the championship chase fairer since we don't have to split finishes so often to determine points."

Having split in 2009, the rejoining of the Regions will pay $2,000 to win, and $250 to start each night in addition to $100 tow money paid to the top-ten eligible members in 2015 regional standings at every event. To be eligible, drivers must be members in good standing, compete in the first four nights to determine standings, and attend 70 percent of scheduled events.

The 2015 lineup is in the works with races already confirmed in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, and Kansas. A preliminary schedule will be unveiled during the 2014 Performance Racing Industries Tradeshow in December.

The American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products will be available soon at http://www.ascsracing.com and can be found on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ASCSRedRiverRegion?ref=br_tf
