Inside Line Promotions – BURLISON, Tenn. (Oct. 9, 2014) – There are only a handful of races remaining this season for Brandon Hanks.
After taking this weekend off, Hanks will return to action with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour Oct. 17-18 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, for the 41st annual Winter Nationals.
“That will be a pretty big event,” he said. “Devil’s Bowl is a tough track to get a handle on. We don’t have a lot of laps there so hopefully we can get good draws and capitalize with a solid performance during our heat races both nights.”
Hanks will then wrap up the month of October with the 27th annual COMP Cams Short Track Nationals Presented by Hoosier Tires Oct. 22-25 at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark.
“That event is closer to home and we always look forward to it,” he said. “We had a strong run last season so we feel more confident going into the Short Track Nationals this year.”
Hanks maneuvered from 12th to sixth during a B Main on the final night of the $15,000-to-win event before he advanced from 17th to 10th in the main event.
He also earned a top 10 in his most recent race at the bullring this season.
