Inside Line Promotions – BURLISON, Tenn. (Sept. 4, 2014) – With the harvest season in full swing, Brandon Hanks will escape from the fields this Saturday for his debut at Leesville 171 Speedway.
Hanks will compete for the first time in his career with the ASCS Gulf South Region at the bullring in Leesville, La.
“I like to go to new places,” he said. “It’s fun for me to try something different and learn some things. We’ve been traveling so much so I can learn to adjust to all of these different race tracks. I’ve never been to Louisiana on top of that. I get to mark that off the list.”
Hanks said his goals remain the same for Saturday.
“I want to make the feature through the heat race and then get a top 10 in the main event,” he said. “If we’re consistently making the top 10 then we’ll try to move up on the goals, but right now we’re keeping it the same.”
Hanks has earned 13 top 10s this season, including two straight and during four of the past eight races.
