Inside Line Promotions – SPRING VALLEY, Minn. – Sprint car fans in Minnesota have one final chance to watch Steve Kinser race in The North Star State.
Kinser, who is in his final season of chasing the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series championship, will tackle Deer Creek Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 13, for the Asgrow/DeKalb Clash at the Creek.
“If they let it get opened up you can run the wall and it’s a lot of fun,” he said. “It’s fast, smooth and fun to run.”
Kinser’s lone World of Outlaws victory at the 3/8-mile track came in 2011 when he led all 35 laps. However, his overall track record in the five previous events is impressive.
Kinser placed fourth last season following his lowest result – 11th – in 2012. He also finished third in 2010 and was fifth during the inaugural event in 2009.
