TULSA, Okla. (August 26, 2014) - Labor Day Weekend for the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region brings two nights of racing for the Missouri based region of the ASCS Nation at the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo. on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31.
Offering drivers $1,500 to win on Saturday night, Sunday's payout will feature a $2,500 to win A-Feature with each night at $250 to start.
Jay Russell leads the series by 33 going into the weekend double header with Jonathan Cornell bringing five ASCS Warrior Regional victories into the weekend. Randy Hibbs holds third only 39 points back with Kyle Bellm and J.R. Topper making the top five in regional standings.
The series 2013 visit saw Jonathan Cornell taking the preliminary night victory while Brian Brown took the win the following night after hightailing from Jackson, Minn. to be a part of the night's racing program. Brown's win was from the seventh starting spot.
The second stop of 2014 at the high-banked oval, Jonathan Cornell found victory in the weather rescheduled date on July 19.
Both nights see races getting underway at 7:00 P.M. (CT). Saturday, August 30 will feature B-Mods, Late Models, Hobby Stocks, and 4-cylider Compacts in addition to the ASCS Warrior Region.
