GOETZ TAKES 2 AT GRAYS HARBOR, NEMIRE #1 AT KALAMAZOO
USAC Western HPD Dirt Midget series capture all the headlines in this week’s HPD competition, with races slated Friday at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia, Calif. and Saturday at Lemoore (Calif.) Raceway.

USAC Washington HPD Midget leader Chase Goetz of Snohomish, Wash. backed up Friday’s “special event” win at Grays Harbor Raceway by winning Saturday night’s 30-lap points race, leading all 30 laps! He was followed by Garrett Thomas, Dougie James, Hannah Lindquist and Tristin Thomas.
Goetz led the final 18 laps to win Friday night’s 20-lap USAC Washington HPD Midget “special event” at Elma. He was trailed by Garrett Thomas, Tristin Thomas, Jeremy Miller (who led the first two laps) and Michael Vollbrecht.
USAC HPD Midwest Pavement Midget point leader Austin Nemire of Sylvania, Ohio led all 15 laps to win Saturday night’s feature at Kalamazoo Speedway in his Hemelgarn Enterprises Beast, Wil Raber, Ross Rankine and Steve Myers rounded out the feature finish.
