Park Jefferson International Speedway will continue its season this coming Saturday night with the return of 5 classes of racing. Headlining the evening will be round 2 of the challenge between the ASCS Midwest Series and the Minnesota Mafia. The Home Pride #53 of Jack Dover, the ASCS Midwest point leader led the 21 car field, followed by Billy Alley and Russ Hall. Kaley Gharst came home 4th to lead the Minnesota Mafia racers. With Knoxville off this week, a number of drivers are considering running for the $1,500 top prize this week including Knoxville National A-Main participants Brian Brown, Terry McCarl and Justin Henderson.
The program will be rounded out by sport modifieds, hobby stocks, sport compacts and the Park Jefferson Thunder Cars. The Driver Websites/Golden Auto Double Dip challenge between Park Jefferson and Raceway Park will once again be in play for the sport modifieds, hobby stocks and sport compacts. Todd Boulware in the sport modified division picked up the first Double Dip bonus which was also supported by Artworks Graphics.
