Wichita Falls, TX (8/12/14) by DarinShort.com. The new Red River Speedway (RRS) in Wichita Falls, Texas is pleased to announce the ASCS Sprint Car American Bank of Oklahoma Sooner vs. Smiley's Racing Products Lone Star region shootout is coming Friday August 22nd!
This huge event is what fans have been waiting for!
An outstanding field of drivers is expected from throughout the region, and this will be the first time most of these drivers have ever seen or raced at RRS! So it should be quite the unpredictable and action packed event.
Fans can expect ASCS Sprint Car drivers such as Patrick Stasa, John Carney II, Josh Baughman, Shawn Petersen, Kevin Ramey, John Kelly, Michael Lang, Harli White, Gary Floyd, Jake Martens, Martin Edwards, Blake Hahn, James Mosher, George White, Dustin Morgan, Alex Sewell, Sean McClelland, Mike Goodman, Kyle Chady, Jordan Weaver, Kris Miller, Joe Wood Jr, Robert Sellers - and a host of others.
Joining the ASCS Sprint Cars will be a complete program for the Limited Modifieds (paying $750 to win); plus the Pro Stocks and Mini Stocks will each be racing for $300 to win. Click http://www.RRSpeedway.com for complete purse breakdown and rules are posted under the 'driver' tab.
Adult tickets are just $17 (ages 12-64), while Kids are $5 (ages 6-11), ages 5 and under are free (with adult admission), and Seniors/Active Military just $12. All pit passes are $30.

-Pits open at 5pm, Grandstands open at 6pm, Draw Cut off & Drivers Meeting at 7pm sharp, Track Packing at 7:15pm, Hot Laps at 7:30pm, Opening Ceremonies at 7:55pm, and racing starts at 8pm
-General Admission just $17 (ages 12 to 64; tickets available on race night only)
-Kids (ages 6-11) just $5
-Ages 5 and under admitted free with Adult admission
-Active Military and Seniors (Ages 65+): $12
-All Pit Passes $30
-No outside food, drinks and/or coolers allowed through ticket gates; a full selection of economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available.
