ASCS Frontier Headed Back to Gallatin and Billings

TULSA, Okla. (August 12, 2014) - The ASCS Frontier Region heads into their final eight nights of the season with two rounds of competition this weekend at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont. on Friday, August 15 and the Billings Motorsports Park just north of Billings, Mont. on Saturday, August 16.

Joe Ramaker carries the field into the weekend double-header with a slim 11 point advantage over Canada's Kelly Miller. Sitting 58 markers back in third is Trever Kirkland with 2013 champion, Phil Dietz and Paxton Lambrecht making up the top-five in series standings.

A weekend matchup on July 25 and 26, Trever Kirkland and Joe Ramaker split the weekend checkered flags with Kirkland scoring his first victory of the 2014 season, and Ramaker his fourth.

Gallatin Speedway kicks off at 7:35 P.M. (MT) on Friday, August 15 with races presented by Samurai Sam's Teriyaki Grill and Taco Time. Tickets are available for $13. Saturday, August 16 at the BMP Speedway will include Modifieds, B-Mods, and Street Stocks. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. (MT) with races getting underway at 7:00 P.M. Admission is $14 with discounts for kids into the grandstands. For more information, log onto http://www.billingsmotorsportspark.com.
