The place was South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and the event was the 2nd OCRS non-wing race of the season. By the time the night was over some of the sprinters had completed probably 50 laps of the 30 lap "A" Feature. Multiple spin outs and wrecks brought out numerous yellow flags. Unfortunately, one of the cars that spun did so just in front of Michael and with no place to go and no time to stop completely, the ensuing collision did just enough damage to the BiGFooT sprinter that it was unable to complete the night. The top of the roller coaster two weeks ago (an "A" Feature win) turned into the bottom of the coaster (a 19th place finish in the "A") at South Coffeyville.
The disappointing night at South Coffeyville was muted by exciting news from Ti22 Performance about Team Ti22 2014. At the end of June, Michael was ranked in a tie for 13th place nationally (out of 40) and is 3rd (out of 10) in the South Region.
Next week's action is a Caney, Kansas, and the wings come back.
